Concept work for Subway Surfers City, a new character, hoverboard and district-content! All work belongs to Miniclip/SYBO. Very proud of this district.
I found, over the course of the development, that concepting environments from a close-to in-game angle really helped me make the work easier for our 3D artists. Furthermore, blocking out the environments in Blender helped me get a better sense of scale, and created a useful artifact for 3D-production. A lesson I learned, working in Mobile, is to always evaluate your concept-art on the phone with the target screen-size. Really helps me focus on what will read well in motion.
